- You need a completed bachelor's degree of at least 180 ECTS (or equivalent) in electrical engineering or a related field (e.g. physical, mechanical, electronic or energy-related engineering), including at least 60 ECTS in electrical engineering and 30 ECTS in mathematics (calculus, numerical methods, algebra, probability theory and basic control theory), with an average grade of at least 75%. Final-year students may apply for a conditional offer
- proof of English is required unless a waiver applies (a TU/e Year 2 needs higher English scores). A separate motivation letter (maximum 1,500 words) is required, and no admission exam is currently required. Year 1 is at KTH or UPC. Grenoble INP – UGA is a Year 2 option (Models and Methods for Grid Integration of Power Electronics, Storage and Smart Buildings Technologies), awarding the International Master of Science in Electrical Engineering for Smart Grids and Buildings.
