Study at ESCE International Business School
ESCE International Business School, formally the École Supérieure du Commerce Extérieur, is a private French grande école of management founded in 1968 to train specialists in international trade. It is not a university: it is a business school delivering state-recognised management qualifications, and it forms part of the OMNES Education group, a private higher education network of fifteen schools and nineteen campuses in France and abroad. Around 2,500 students are enrolled, roughly a quarter of them international and representing over seventy-five nationalities, taught by a faculty in which more than half of the professors come from outside France. The main campus occupies 2,700 square metres of the Cœur Défense building in the Paris La Défense business district at Courbevoie, with a second French campus in Lyon and study locations in London, Barcelona and Munich. The programme portfolio runs from a three-year International Bachelor through the five-year Programme Grande École leading to a Master in Management, specialised Master of Science degrees and doctoral-level MBA and DBA routes, with specialisation tracks taught fully in English. ESCE has been a member of the Conférence des Grandes Écoles since 2012, holds EFMD accreditation for its Master in Management and carries a four-star QS Stars rating. Students can access more than 190 partner universities in over fifty countries, and the school reports that 92 percent of graduates find employment within six months.
ESCE does not operate its own halls of residence. The International Office supports incoming and outgoing students with housing: where a campus offers housing it is made available, and otherwise the office supplies lists of private rentals, shared apartments and university residences, along with help on visas, documentation and settling in. The Paris campus itself is a 2,700 square metre teaching building in the Cœur Défense towers, with 400 square metres for student societies, a 200 square metre incubator, collaborative and relaxation areas and a planted rooftop terrace.
