Programme-specific requirements recorded in SIT Connect.
- You need a completed bachelor's degree of at least 180 ECTS (or equivalent) in physics, mechanical, nuclear, chemical, electrical or energy engineering
- degrees in other subjects are considered case by case if they give a sufficient foundation in mathematics, physics and mechanics. Final-year students may apply and receive a conditional offer, and proof of English is required unless a waiver applies. A separate motivation letter (maximum 1,500 words) is required and some applicants may be invited to an online interview
- no admission exam is currently required. Year 1 is at KTH (Stockholm) or UPC (Barcelona) and Year 2 at a partner in France. Grenoble INP – UGA offers the Year 2 specialisation Materials for Nuclear Energy (degree: Master Materials of Science: Materials Science for Nuclear Energy)
- in a small number of cases eligibility rules may require Year 1 at Grenoble INP – UGA and Year 2 at KTH.
