Application

How to apply to study in France

Move from search to a traceable application without losing your selected programme or source.

1. Understand the France route

The route depends on nationality, residence, level and programme. Applicants in countries covered by Études en France may use that process, some first-year routes use Parcoursup, and other programmes accept direct institutional applications; the selected programme's current instructions take precedence.

2. Prepare and confirm

Check the institution's current deadline and document requirements. Programme rules take precedence over general guidance.

3. Continue to the portal

The Apply button opens the central SIT Connect student portal with studyatfr, studyatfrance.com and the selected programme attached. SIT Connect then confirms the correct official submission route.
